Evening Primrose is a species of the Oenothera plant genus, native to and most commonly found in eastern and central North America. Extract from the Evening Primrose flower forms this greasy and beautiful natural oil; rich in Omega 6 fatty acids, known for its beneficial effects on the skin.

When used with food, Evening Primrose Oil is especially packed with Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA), which is one of the body's most prized fatty acids, especially in regards to a healthy heart. People who consume a lot of alcohol and/or sugar tend to be lacking in GLA; Evening Primrose Oil may help.
